Saturday Night Banquet Information 2010

Our 2010 banquet is set to be one of the best ever!

Held at the Colorado State University Lory Student Center
Directions to Campus: Go west from I-25 approx 2.5 miles on CO Route 14 cross the railroad to a light and fork; stay to the left and take the left fork on to Mulberry continue to College Ave (Do not turn on to Riverside.) Turn left (south) on to College to Laurel. Turn Right on Laurel and then left on Meldrum to parking lot.

Our Speaker:

Col. Steve Pisanos - Double ACE

Steve Pisanos

Col. Steve Pisanos is a USAF Colonel (retired) who served successfully as a fighter pilot with the British Royal Air Force (RAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF) 4th Fighter Group in World War II, having been credited with 10 victories and thus considered an ace. By the end of his career in 1974, he received 33 decorations and distinctions. He is author of the book The Flying Greek, published in April 2008, where he has meticulously recorded all of his personal adventures and detailed war fighting experiences.

He flew the P-47 Miss Plainfield which
is featured on our t-shirt this year.
He also flew the P-51D, the P-80 Shooting Star, the F-102, and the F-4E.

Col. Pisanos has an incredible history, including being a part of the French resistance during WWII. He recieved the French Legion of Honor this year for his serivce to France.
